Why Shakespeare should be child’s play

Children as young as five should be exposed to Shakespeare, according to the artistic director of the Royal Shakespeare Company, who believes the plays can teach important life lessons.

Even the youngest children can have their lives transformed by seeing a Shakespeare play, and they are not put off by the complexity of the language, said Gregory Doran.
