The Folger Shakespeare Library, an independent research library in Washington D.C. home of the journal Shakespeare Quarterly and the world’s largest collected of Shakespeare’s printed works, is currently taking applications for their Teaching Shakespeare Institute.
This program, open to 25 middle and high school teachers and lasting from June 29th to July 26th, is centered around an in-depth look into Romeo and Juliet and Twelfth Night with a focus on technology. Teachers will be able to work with collaboratively with scholars, master teachers, and actors to create digital learning tools while experiencing the plays from the perspective of researchers and performers.
