The English and theater departments of University of Northern Colorado hosted a workshop with Michael LoMonico of The Folger in New York on Friday evening. Part of the workshop was intended to attempt to break the world record for the largest balcony scene from “Romeo and Juliet.”

Sadly, fewer than 80 people attended—about half the amount needed to break the current record. Juliet(s) outnumbered the Romeo(s) that night as the balcony scene was performed by students and community members.
